SAGA Transits the Panama Canal!

On Thursday, March 4, 2004 SAGA began her transit of the Canal. On board were the crew of Fernweh, Korbin and his father Ed along with their friend, a Panamanian named Jose Luis. Together we took SAGA safely through all the locks, spending the night in Lake Gatun. Now we are members of a very small and exclusive club made up mostly of small boats who took two days to transit the canal and were fortunate to have slept (and swum) in Gatun Lake!
