In order to make ends meet and add to our cruising kitty, Jann & I are doing various boat work. We've put the new Sailright sewing machine to good use making all kinds of covers and pockets to hold stuff that otherwise wouldn't have a home! In San Diego, we worked on an old Kettenberg 50, (Hull #4) called "AKAMAI." We sanded and varnished 'til our fingers almost fell off! We've done work for other cruisers as well, repairing sails and canvas and of course, making more things for SAGA. Take a look at the pictures below to see how we're keepin' ourselves busy. |

SAGA's addition (AKA- the inlaw unit!)
Hey, it's cheaper than buying a bigger boat! And Strong Too! But I think it doesn't do much for the trim!

Here we are sewing in a field behind Marina Seca's workyard. Saga is behind us and the tree. That pile of white to our left is all jib sail.
