SAGA SAILS THE SEA OF CORTEZ! - Page 2

Leaving La Paz, we sail north past Los Islotes; a group of small islets famous for playful seals and great fishing.

1st Stop: Isla San Francisco

(Note: Those dark spots near shore are actually huge schools of baitfish!)

Isla San Francisco

The Incredible Sea life!

This amazing Fin Whale and her family were just a boat-length away from us.

She's actually longer than SAGA!

A huge pod of dolphins head towards us as we leave Agua Verde and head North.

Isla Danzante and Honeymoon Cove.

Saga lucks out and finds this fantastic cove empty. We think it's our favorite anchorage yet!

Punta Chivato

True to the Cruising Way, Jim & Mary ("MooneyBase") open their lovely house to cruisers who anchor out their back door

They are incredably sweet, taking us into nearby Mulege for provisions and a tour of the town, inviting all the cruisers over for sundowners and showers! Where did these folks come from? (Thank You, you two! You're just the best!)

This is the view from their patio where we're dinning on fresh clams that Jann & I brought up from Bahia Concepcion.
